How we examine it
We acknowledge the complaint at once, with its number and the complaints department's contact details. Within 3 working days we tell you whether the complaint is admissible; if it is not, we explain why. If the complaint is unclear or incomplete, we ask for what is missing. We keep you informed of what we do and give you the decision in writing, with its reasons, within the term of art. 16(4) of Law 181/2023. If we cannot keep to it, we tell you why and by when you will have the decision, at most 15 days later. If the complaint is rejected or partly upheld, the decision also names the remedies: the National Commission for Financial Markets and the courts.
